Pump and steer and pump
Mommy, I can’t ride it with
out you saying that!

I can do it myself, Mom.
I don’t need your help!

Bubba decided that he was going to learn to ride his bike at my mom and dad’s house this summer.  After several tries with his Papaw he knew he could never ride it without someone standing behind him yelling “pump and steer and pump and steer!”, all the while riding down a grassy hill.

This week he decided he needed to get back on his bike and give it a try.  So we went out front and got started, except, no real grassy hills here that don’t end in the pond.  We have been riding on the side walk with me following and yelling the tagline.  Yesterday he told me I didn’t need to say it anymore!
